DTRE Continues Regional and Operational Expansion with Senior New Hires

  • Robert Kos appointed Associate Partner in DTRE’s Manchester office as the business further commits to expanding its regional presence.
  • Paul Riley appointed Finance Partner to facilitate the operational expansion of the business and the further development of its governance and reporting.
  • These two new hires compound the recent growth of DTRE, following shortly after other new hires within the business.

Robert Kos and Paul Riley are the latest hires by DTRE, providing boosts to both the operational and regional capabilities of the business as it continues steadily to expand.

As Finance Partner, Paul will provide further expert resource to DTRE’s internal operations team. In particular, Paul will be responsible for developing and delivering DTRE’s governance and reporting systems, in-line with best-in-class industry standards.

It’s a task he is well-equipped for, being most recently Group Finance Director at Thames River Investments. In this role, Paul was responsible for all financial and commercial matters within the business and for providing strategic operational advice as it designed and developed sites across central London.

Paul’s other previous roles include time at JLL, McArthurGlen and L&G, with experience advising FTSE top-10, mid-cap and SME executive and operations teams in the UK and elsewhere.

At DTRE, we have long focused on our governance and reporting capabilities – increasingly so as we have continued to grow,” said David Turner, Co-Founder and Partner at DTRE.

With Paul’s extensive experience delivering best-in-class strategic advice, he is the perfect person to lead on this and other critical operations moving forwards. We are confident in his ability to have a transformative impact on the core of the DTRE business.”

Robert, meanwhile, joins DTRE’s Manchester office as Associate Partner. It represents a commitment by DTRE to its regional service offerings, as well as a recognition of the opportunities within the region itself – particularly with regard to the North West’s logistics sector.

Robert arrives from JLL where he was Director within the Industrial and Logistics team in Manchester, leading on the acquisition, disposal and development of properties across the North West on behalf of corporate, institutional and developer clients.

Andrew Lynn, Partner and Head of North West at DTRE, said: “Robert is a local market expert and a strong addition to our Manchester office. With his added capabilities, we look forward to delivering an even more expert service to our current and future clients across the region.”

Robert’s arrival follows shortly after the appointment of Sam Cooper as Senior Surveyor in DTRE’s Cambridge office, with both providing the local expertise required to capitalise on targeted local opportunities, such as science and technology in the ‘golden triangle’.
