Description

No.1 Journey Campus is a comprehensive refurbishment of the former Babbage House. The project retains the existing structural frame and upper floor slabs, while introducing a new ground floor slab. It also features new core areas and the addition of an extra floor.

The upgraded building is fully electric and integrates modern building services, including VRF comfort cooling, LED lighting, and advanced intelligent control systems.

The Location

Journey Campus is situated on the edge of the city centre at the southern end of the main arterial roads of Huntingdon Road, Histon Road and Madingley Road, which ensures easy access to the A14, M11, A428 and the inner ring road.

County Hall and the historic Castle Mound are situated adjacent to the campus. There are frequent bus services, including the Cambridge Guided Bus, to and from the city centre as well as Cambridge North and Cambridge Station.
