Hannah Smith

Alice joined DTRE in May 2017, having spent four years at Cushman & Wakefield where she qualified as a member of the RICS. She is a Partner in the Industrial Leasing team, advising both landlords and occupiers. Her coverage includes much of Southern UK including London, the South East, South Coast and Thames Valley, through to the West CountrySignificant projects have included her recent involvement in the acquisition of 471,000 sq ft in Hemel Hempstead for Brakes Brothers, a pre-let of 88,000 sq ft to Furniture Box in Chippenham on behalf of St. Modwen, the acquisition of 140,000 sq ft in Poyle for SIG and her involvement in a 47 acre land sale in Magor on behalf of Sainsbury’s.

Alice Hampden-Smith

Amelia is the Head of DTRE’s Sustainability Consultancy Team having joined the Industrial and Logistics Capital Markets Team from Colliers in June 2022. On her recent secondment to a leading logistics client, she conducted ESG analysis of over 1,000 operational assets, providing individual decarbonisation pathways in support of the business’ wider Net Zero strategy. Amelia is a member of the RICS and the European Logistics Forum ESG Group. She  completed the University of Cambridge’s ‘Sustainable Real Estate’ CISL course in May 2023, having previously completed her Real Estate MSc at the University of Reading in 2018.

Amelia Balkwill

Joining in 2020, and based in Manchester, Andrew heads up the North West offering at DTRE. He was previously at JLL with over 15 years’ experience working in the North West market. He has been instrumental in the success of large schemes such as Icon Manchester Airport, Logistics North Bolton and Omega Warrington. He specialises in representing investors, developers and land owners, primarily advising on the disposal of existing buildings and providing advice on new development schemes. Originally from a farming background in Northern Ireland, Andrew has a young family and plays/coaches rugby.

Andrew Lynn

Ben is an Equity Partner and Co-Head of UK Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets. His clients consist of Developers, Institutions and Private Equity firms - providing advice on a range of acquisition and disposal work across the UK. In addition, he provides ongoing assistance to a variety of developers in sourcing funding for projects.  
Ben has been at DTRE since 2017, having previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield. He has been a member of the RICS since 2015.

Bex joined DTRE in early 2022 after working as both a Private and Business PA for 8 years in various sectors. Bex looks after the Industrial & Logistics Agency Team whilst also managing the Manchester office.

Charlie joined the Alternative Capital Markets team at DTRE in 2024, bringing across 7 years of experience in both operational and fixed lease investments. Charlie’s wide-ranging experience has allowed him to advise key institutional, pension and private equity funds across ground rent, income strips, development fundings and standing investments. He has a keen focus on the Hotel and PBSA sectors which he will look to drive forward at DTRE as the team expands further into the alternative markets. Charlie is a member of the RICS and has a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University.

Charlie joined DTRE in May 2024, after three years on the Analyst team at Clearbell Capital. He holds a degree in Real Estate and specialises in analysing investment opportunities across various sectors in the UK and Europe.

Having previously worked in Central London Retail at Nash Bond, Charlie joined DTRE in 2018. He is an Associate Partner and specialises in South East Leasing and Development working predominately for Private Equity, Developer and Institutional landlord clients. Key markets include inside the M25 with a focus on the West London corridor and North London and Hertfordshire.

Claudia joined DTRE in October 2021, after spending two and a half years at Vail Williams assisting with both disposal & acquisition work within London & Surrey. Prior to that she worked in South West London for commercial agency firm Lewis & Co. Claudia graduated from Bristol UWE in 2012 after studying Property Development & Planning.

She is part of the Industrial & Logistics Leasing Team, undertaking both landlord and occupier work and her coverage includes London & Southern England.

Originally from Colombia, David joined DTRE in May 2022 as the DTRE Facilities Supervisor. David is in charge of making sure everything in the office runs smoothly whether that’s taking stock checks, ordering supplies, liaising with suppliers or keeping everything organised.

David Hurtado

David is a co-founder of DTRE. He and Keith Dowley have been business partners since 1995, selling their previous company to CBRE in 2006 and working there for several years before setting up DTRE in 2010. His focus is primarily on the Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets team, both in the office and industrial spheres, overseeing relationships with clients ranging from property and equity companies to institutions and high net worth individuals. As well as the UK, David has extensive experience in European markets.

David Turner

Florence joined DTRE after graduating from Newcastle University in 2022. She was initially welcomed into the Research team where she had prime exposure to the wider industry, with key focuses on building up DTRE’s European Industrial dataset and all research and statistics for the Science & Technology team. She leverages this analytical viewpoint and data-led process in her current role as Data Analyst within the Office, Science & Technology team, where she provides bespoke leasing and development advice to clients across the sectors.

Florence Weston

George is a Chartered Surveyor in the Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets Team. 
George previously spent two years in the Science and Technology Investment Team at DTRE where he worked with various clients including CEG, Columbia Threadneedle, Savills Investment Management, Regional REIT and Blackstone.
George is a member of the RICS having come through DTRE’s Graduate Scheme and holds a BSc in Real Estate from Reading University. He is also an active member of DTRE’s Charity Committee.

Georgia previously studied International Business Management & Spanish BSc at the University of Bristol before undertaking a Real Estate MSc, specialising in Fund Management, at Reading University.
She joined DTRE in 2022 and is a Graduate Surveyor in the Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets Team, where she works predominantly on acquisitions and disposals across the UK.

Georgia Bowen


Hannah moved to DTRE after qualifying as a chartered surveyor at Cushman and Wakefield in 2018. Hannah is now an Associate Partner in the office, science and technology team advising both Landlord and Occupier clients on their leasing strategies. Hannah has specialised on many development & leasing projects for clients across the South East, including Oxford, London and Cambridge. 



Hannah Davies

Harry leads the Alternative Capital Markets team which he set up in 2024 having picked up over £500m of cross-sector instructions in the investment, funding and development space. The Alternative Capital Markets team focuses on the Living Sector which covers BTR, Student and Medical in addition to Office transactions.  Harry joined DTRE in 2020 from US Law Firm Greenberg Traurig, where he worked in Real Estate M&A. Having qualified as a Solicitor, Harry saw the opportunity for a progressive move into Real Estate Advisory, allowing him to access commercial transactions at an earlier stage. Previously Harry had also been part of the M&A team at Intercontinental Hotels Group.

Hatty joined DTRE in 2018, having worked in the travel & luxury retail industries for a few years. She now overseas the implementation of DTRE's industry leading systems and practices across  the business alongside the Head of Finance & Operations.

Having completed the MSc in Real Estate at the University of Reading, Hugh joined DTRE as a Graduate Surveyor in July 2024, working alongside the Industrial & Logistics Leasing teams within the South East and inner M25 regions. Hugh is working towards his APC professional qualifications to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Jack joined DTRE’s Manchester office from Avison Young where he’d previously spent 8 years following the acquisition of WHR where he first began his career. 

Jack plays a key role in the leasing team, advising landlord and developer clients on both existing assets and new developments. He has extensive agency experience in the industrial and logistics market and an in-depth knowledge in the processes of dealing with agency matters, with a focus on identifying opportunities to enhance value.  

Bringing both experience in delivering strategic advice to clients and a network of contacts from the North West Industrial Property Market supports the growing platform that DTRE has developed in the North. 


Jack Weatherilt

Jake brings over 10 years of agency experience through roles at Nelson Bakewell / Capita and DTRE. During this time Jake has advised a wide variety of landlords and occupiers, but with a particular focus on projects in the South of England. 
Jake has an extensive track record for providing development consultancy advice, having been involved in a significant number of land acquisitions and sales during his career. 
As the Co-Head of the Industrial and Logistics Agency team, Jake is responsible for the national team. 
Jake has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2012 and was a member of the national IAS committee for over 7 years.

James joined the alternative capital markets team at DTRE in 2017, bringing with him extensive experience from his time at CBRE. With over a decade of expertise in advising clients on acquisitions and disposals, James specializes in the office, science, and technology sectors.

He possesses an exceptional understanding of both the national investment market and the golden triangle area. Known for his cross-sector collaboration, James leverages his comprehensive knowledge to offer clients meticulously thought-out advice on maximizing the value of their assets.

Jamie joined DTRE in 2013 after achieving a Masters in Management at Warwick Business School and a BSc in Real Estate at Oxford Brookes. He is part of the Industrial & Logistics Leasing Team, covering the Midlands and South-East.

Notable deals include agreeing a deal with Mercedes Grand Prix to relocate their wind tunnel to Silverstone Park, agreeing a 132,000 sq ft letting to Aston Martin in Wellesbourne and a 72,000 sq ft pre-let to Spire Healthcare PLC in Worcester.

Jamie Durrant

Jamie has over 25 years experience and heads up the DTRE Cambridge office. His work covers development advice and leasing in the Life Science, Office and Mid Tech sectors in Cambridge and the wider Eastern Region. His past work has included leasing transactions across the major R&D parks in Cambridge as well as tenant advisory roles with fast growing tech and science companies including Darktrace, Evonetix, Monitise and Synaptics. Jamie is a member of the RICS and holds a BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University.

Jamie Green

Jamie joined DTRE in January 2019 after finishing his Masters in Real Estate. He works in the Research, Data & Insight Team supporting the Capital Markets and Leasing Advisory Teams with data analytics. Jamie has played a key part in the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of Coyote, the central platform for DTRE’s data. Working with Robert Taylor, Jamie aids in the planning of DTRE’s data strategy.

Jasmine joined DTRE in 2024, having previously worked as an assistant manager at KPMG in their Real Estate Audit department where she worked with various clients including M7, Related Argent and Daejan Holdings.

Jasmine is a member of the ICAEW having previously completed an ACA to become a chartered accountant.

At DTRE, Jasmine works across the business alongside the Head of Operations & Finance.

Jasmine Mansfield

Jim is a Partner and Co-Head of the Alternative Capital Markets team, providing advice to clients across the Retail, Living, Logistics and Healthcare sectors. Jim has specialised in Development Projects, Strategic Land & Long income opportunities in the past. Clients include a range of UK Institutions. PropCo's and London Borough Councils. Before joining DTRE in 2024, Jim co-founded Clifton Agency, where he worked for several years. He was also an Equity Partner at CWM previous to this. Jim holds a degree from Manchester University and an MSc in Commercial Property Development from Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).

Joe joined DTRE in February 2024, having studied for an MSc in Real Estate at the University of Reading and completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Exeter. As a part of the Alternative Capital Markets team, Joe is helping the team to create new lines of business by focusing on alternative asset classes.

Joey joined DTRE in 2024 having graduated from Exeter University in 2020. He went onto work in KPMG’s Deal Advisory team before spending 3 years in the Industrial & Logistics Team at BNP Paribas Real Estate.

He is part of the Industrial & Logistics Leasing Team, undertaking both landlord and occupier work specialising in London & Southern England.

Joey Higham

John is an Equity Partner and Head of UK Institutional Clients in the Industrial & Logistics Capaital Markets team, he
has been with DTRE since the Partnership was founded in 2010.

John advises clients on industrial and logistics acquisitions, disposals and fundings. He specialises in multi-let industrial and urban logistics throughout the UK. His key client responsibility is the UK Funds & Institutions.

John Adcock

Keith co-founded DTRE in 2010 with David Turner after working together at CBRE and having previously been founders together of Holley Blake. Now acting as Chairman of UK Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets, Keith brings almost 40 years of experience in all aspects of the Industrial & logistics sector, and has advised on the majority of the significant UK portfolio transactions across the sector over the last 15. Keith works closely with key clients such as Prologis, Blackstone, Tritax, KKR, Ares, JP Morgan, Oxenwood, Mirastar and Bericote.

Lily joined DTRE in 2023, having spent three years in LA working as a nanny alongside studying Sociology at Santa Monica College. Lily now supports the Operations Team alongside the wider business and is the first face you will see when visiting our office.

Maddie joined DTRE in 2020, having worked as an Asset Manager at Canmoor Asset Management. She is now a Surveyor in the Industrial & Logistics Leasing Team, qualifying as a member of the RICS in 2023. Maddie specialises in South East Leasing and Development, advising both landlords and occupiers, with key markets including inner M25, the West London corridor and West Sussex.

Mark Webster brings nearly 40 years of experience in the commercial property sector across European Markets and in the UK.
Mark has advised global occupiers brands, institutional investors and developers on numerous aspects associated with industrial and logistics properties but has increasingly specialised in the Advisory area ensuring that Occupiers get what they need but also how the development world can interact most effectively with the customers.

Matt is Head of Science & Technology at DTRE and brings over 15 years of expertise in the life sciences and office sectors. He leverages his deep market knowledge, extensive network, and strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals for his clients. His passion lies in the innovation industries, and his proven track record includes success in science and technology transactions, lease negotiations, and asset management.

Matt Smith

Max joined DTRE in 2022 and is a member of the Capital Markets Leasing Team. Max covers the South West and South East of England, primarily advising on the disposal of existing buildings and providing advice on new development schemes. 



Max Dowley

Mike brings over 40 years of office, lab and tech space experience as a consultant to DTRE. He was instrumental in setting up DTRE Cambridge in 2022 and has been involved in many of the key developments in the City in the past 15 years. Prior to working in Cambridge, he was a senior director at CBRE in London and a former chair of the Office Agents Society. He is an active member of the British Council for Offices (BCO) and chairs the Cambridge and East Anglia regional chapter.

Nancy joined DTRE in 2019 as an Executive Assistant and has 19 years experience working in support & events roles within the Property Industry in both Client and Agency.  She now sits as a Senior Business Executive, within the Operations Team heading up a team of 3 and reporting into the Founding Partners.

Directing and overseeing the business operations of DTRE.  Natalie implements operational strategies, systems, and infrastructure to support the growth and strategic objectives of DTRE.  Areas of responsibility include Governance, Compliance and Risk Management.

•	Due diligence and management role in the acquisition of Pelham PR by Chime plc 

•	Played a key role in the Bell Pottinger MBO from Chime plc, working with the management team during the buyout process and implementing operational and change management through integrating six companies.

•	Management of infrastructure to scale DTRE from a headcount of 18 to 61 over the last six years

Natalie Barone

Ollie Joined DTRE in August 2021, after graduating from Oxford Brookes University in June 2020, studying the BSc Real Estate Management undergraduate course. After his studies, he used the numerous lockdowns to convert a Volkswagen Transporter into a campervan to enjoy surfing and cycling around the UK. As a member of the Industrial Leasing team, he is involved with deals across the UK, with a particular focus on the Midlands Market.

Ollie Withers

Paul brings more than 30 years of UK and pan-European real estate and logistics experience and expertise to DTRE. He was previously EMEA Head of Real Estate at DHL Group, leading a team of 80 handling approximately 3,000 facilities under management in 100+ countries, with an annual capex budget of €1bn+. Paul also plays an important role in developing our long-term strategy in what is a particularly exciting time for logistics. In his free time, he is keen on sport, nowadays as a spectator, and on collecting fine wines.

Phoebe is a Business Executive who supports the Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets Team. She joined DTRE in July 2023 after previously working as PA for the CEO of a residential property development business, alongside supporting the interior design team. Prior to that, she worked at Porsche.

Polly is a senior surveyor in the Industrial Investment team. Her focus with DTRE is on investment disposals and acquisitions across the UK. Polly joined DTRE in June 2022 after two and a half years with JLL. There she qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and gained experience in corporate occupier advisory and loan security valuations, ultimately specialising in South East industrial valuation.

Richard is Co-Head of Industrial & Logistics Leasing, Advisory & Development, and has over 25 years of experience within the sector.  Richard has been with DTRE since the Partnership was founded in 2010.
Richard specialises in leasing and development consultancy projects.  He has particular specialism in advising clients on disposal strategies and is actively involved in projects throughout the UK, ranging from large scale build to suit projects to ‘mid box’ urban logistics projects.  In addition he is highly active in the development consultancy market and has been involved in various site acquisitions throughout the South East and Midlands.
Prior to DTRE Richard worked at CBRE and Holley Blake and he has a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management from the University of Northumbria.

Richard Harman


Rob spent 9 years at JLL starting as a graduate and qualifying in 2015 before joining the DTRE Manchester office in 2023. Rob Covers the North of England, advising predominantly on landlord and developer clients on existing units and development schemes.

Robert is our Head of Research and works across DTRE’s specialisms. This involves everything from collecting market data to producing market research reports, forecasting and informing the DTRE house view. Joining us in March 2017, he was previously in similar roles at Savills and BNP Paribas. Originally from Liverpool, Robert now lives in Wimbledon.

Robert Taylor

Sam joined DTRE in 2023 having studied a Masters in Real Estate Management at Birmingham City University and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Politics at Lancaster University. Previously based in the Midlands where he won The Midland’s Property Rising Star Award, Sam has joined the Office, Science and Technology team focusing on leasing across ‘The Golden Triangle’.

Sheila joined DTRE in September 2022 and has recently taken on the role of Front of House Support. Sheila works alongside Lily on the Operations team, supporting the wider business, and is one of the first faces you will see when walking into the DTRE office.

Simon is an Equity Partner and Head of Developer Client Relations in the Science & Technology Team, he has been with DTRE since October 2012 initially setting set up the Office Agency and Investment team. Simon has over 25 years of experience and his experience in investment and development comes from his background in leasing. He specialises in developer led business in Cambridge, London and Oxford. He has been a member of the RICS since 2001.

Steph joined DTRE in January 2021 after four years with Cushman & Wakefield. There she qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019 alongside an MSc in Real Estate, having previously gained a BA in Geography from UCL. Steph’s 8 years of experience in the industry includes lease advisory, office agency, hotel valuation and industrial investment. 

Steph is part of the Industrial Investment team working alongside Keith Dowley and Tom Sarjant, advising on disposals and acquisitions of logistics opportunities and across the UK.

Tess joined DTRE in May 2022 after working as a Team Assistant for a leading global Independent Investment Bank for 3 years. Prior to this, Tess gained experience working in various sectors including PR & Events, and Interior Design.


Tess provides support to the Alternative Capital Markets Team, Research, Data & Insights Team as well as the Science & Technology Team where she also manages their DTRE Cambridge Office. Tess has a Diploma from Quest Professional PA Programme.

Tom is a Partner in the Industrial and Logistics Team with a particular focus on the Midlands market. Tom has worked in the Industrial and Logistics market for over 10 years, having previously held positions with Colliers International and Cushman & Wakefield. He joined DTRE in 2016 and has helped to grow the Midlands leasing team, specialising in the disposal of prime distribution and manufacturing facilities on behalf of a wide range of clients. He has a particular interest in the acquisition and disposal of development land on behalf of his clients.


Tom has also helped a variety of clients, such as Sainsbury’s and Charles Kendall Freight, who were looking to acquire new warehouse facilities in the Midlands market.


Tom is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, having qualified in 2013.

Tom Fairlie

Tom is an Equity Partner and Co-Head of UK Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets, providing advice to clients on all aspects of UK Logistics Capital Markets, specialising in Development Funding and ‘Big Box’ Logistics. Clients include a range of Private Equity firms, Developers and PropCo's. 

Since joining DTRE in 2015, Tom has managed and advised on large-scale transactions, ranging from pan-European portfolios and platform trades to single-asset deals. 

Tom has a BA(Hons) degree in Economics and Politics and an MSc in Real Estate as well as being MRICS.


Tom Sarjant

Will joined DTRE in March 2024 and is a surveyor in the Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets Team. After completing an Undergraduate Degree at Durham University and a Master’s in Real Estate at the University of Reading, Will spent two and a half years at Cushman & Wakefield. There he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and gained experience in commercial valuations and investment. 



Will Elvidge


Will is an Associate Partner in the Capital Markets Team, focusing on European expansion and Investment transactions, working closely with David Turner.  Since starting at DTRE in March 2022, Will has helped establish DTRE’s first European affiliate office in Milan and has advised on various UK transactions with a combined value of £300m for clients including: M7 and Ares. Will started his career at Cushman and Wakefield where qualified as a surveyor. He subsequently worked at EDR REIM for 3.5 years, in the Fund management team, working on various JV’s, Separate accounts and Funds.
