US Government Sells West End Offices to National Bank of Egypt

The United States Government has sold the freehold of 8-9 Stratton Street to the National Bank of Egypt (UK) for its London headquarters, in a deal that underlines returning demand for London offices despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 16,500 sq ft office, previously home to fashion firm Myla, was brought to the market for sale by DTRE at the start of the year and sold following a competitive bidding process.

South East office take-up slips to lowest for three years in Q3

The DTRE team has recently returned from its annual client cycle trip, hosted this year in the stunning area of Girona, Spain.
DTRE's answer to Chris Froome, A.K.A John Adcock, led a home team of five plus four clients. They enjoyed three days of guided cycling up some of the famous climbs in the area, including Rocacorba and Mare de Deu del Mont.

It was a fantastic trip, enjoyed by all. Amongst the feedback is that Girona should be on every cyclist's "bucket list"; excellent cycling routes, beautiful historic city, and great food to top it all.
A return trip in 2020 is already being planned!
